the Tar Chronicles is one of my oldest series, just one or two steps past the casual prompting about fairies and cats on the "old" Stable Diffusion 1.5, and is still based on artists influences, in this case, mainly Alberto Burri and Arnaldo Pomodoro. I know it's something you *should* not do, and of course it's something that more or less anyone do. But in my defense I have to say I never try to emulate directly the work of the artists I use in my prompt and I never ever use the name of artists that are still in activity (or alive, for that matter).
Also, I know deeply the work of the artists that I reference in my artworks, and it's out of admiration and respect towards them that I use their names, as a workshop pupil would do, when he imitates the master's style, and this statement could not be more true in the case of Arnaldo Pomodoro, given that I had the honor of meeting him and attending his school of "Artistic Treatment of Metals" in Pietrarubbia. I know for a fact that he would never have dreamed of creating works like those imagined by me and the AI, so I'm pretty at ease with my conscience.
